Clockwise is a rug symbolizing the cycle of the day and the silent flow of time. The rectangular forms placed across its surface are inspired by the shifting shadows of objects as they catch the sunlight throughout the day. This arrangement, reminiscent of Morse code, carries no literal message; instead, it emphasizes the rhythm of time, the trace of each moment, and the presence of 24 hours on a single plane. Resting on a white background, this simple yet meaningful design becomes a visual diary of life shaped by light and shadow.
This rug was designed by us and made using recycled textile yarns. As it is machine-made, it is woven slightly tighter than our handwoven rugs. It can be used on both sides, indoors or outdoors, and is machine washable.
